Privacy policy

walliz cares about protecting your privacy. This policy describes the data processed when you use the walliz.org website and the app, the purposes of that processing and your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

The data controller is the publisher of the walliz website (see the Legal notice). For any question about your data, write to contact@walliz.org.

Data we process

Depending on how you use the site, the following data may be processed:

  • Account (optional): username or name, email address and password (stored in hashed form).
  • Activity: wallpapers added to your favorites and edits you save.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed (access logs).
  • Strictly necessary cookies and your theme preference (light / dark) stored in your browser.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Provide and secure the service (account, favorites, edits) — performance of the requested service.
  • Ensure the security of the site and prevent abuse — legitimate interest.
  • Remember your display preferences (language, theme) — legitimate interest.

Cookies and local storage

The site only uses cookies that are necessary for it to work (login session, CSRF security token) and local storage to remember your theme choice. No advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers are set.

Hosting and recipients

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as a reverse proxy and content delivery network (CDN) and may process technical data (including the IP address) for security and performance purposes. Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Host: self-hosted by the publisher (FuLiiTech).

Retention period

Account data is kept as long as your account exists. Technical logs are kept for a limited time for security purposes. You can request the deletion of your account and the associated data at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data.

  • You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data: HTTPS connection, passwords stored in hashed form and restricted access to data.

Minors

The service is not intended for children under the age of 15 without the consent of a parent or guardian.

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
